Connection Finder
Connection Finder helps you quickly find possible connections, when doing segment-by-segment searches.
To use Connection Finder, click on the flight that you are interested, then, click on either "Onward Flights" or "Backward Flights" to find only flights that can connect from / to your selected flight.
Example: Free Overnight Connection
You are flying from Tokyo (NRT) to Chicago (ORD), but you want to take a free overnight connection in Los Angeles (LAX) to visit some friend.
To use Connection Finder, you search for NRT-LAX and LAX-ORD individually, taking care to spread out the search date by a day or two to cover any next-day connection.
Once you have selected long-haul NRT-LAX flight, click on "Onward Flights" and you will see only viable connections from LAX-ORD, including next-day options that most airline sites will not show.

Note on Legal Connection Time
Please note that Connection Finder is NOT based on published minimum connection time. For example, if your selected flight arrives at 1:30 PM, the Connection Finder will show a connecting flight that departs at 1:40 PM, even though a 10 minute connection is not legal.
Legal / Minimum Connection Time varies by airport, but generally is at least 20 minutes, and sometimes up to 2 - 3 hours for international connections. Confirm with an airline agent to see if your connection has enough time for that airport.
Note on Co-terminal / Airport Change
At this time, Connection Finder does not consider other nearby airports, even though you may be able to make a connection by changing airport (such as arriving in JFK and departing from LGA).
24 Hours International Connection Only
The Connection Finder currently considers any connection under 24 hours to be a permissible connection. In some special cases, such as purely domestic US connection, the airline may limit connection to only 4 hours.
